NAcho tambunting

Nacho Tambunting is a New York–based actor and producer whose work spans television, film, and theater in both the United States and the Philippines.

Born and raised in Manila, Nacho began performing professionally at the age of ten before moving to New York to study at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Over nearly two decades, Nacho has built a career across stage and screen, often finding himself at the intersection of the two worlds that shaped him.

His television credits include recurring roles on NBC’s Rise and Apple TV+’s Dickinson, with guest appearances on Netflix’s Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love and BET+’s First Wives Club. His film work includes Asian Persuasion and Come Into My Arms, and he can be heard in the iHeartRadio scripted series Does This Murder Make Me Look Gay?

Onstage, Nacho made his Off-Broadway debut originating the title role in Felix Starro with Ma-Yi Theater Company. Additional theater credits include Trilogy and The Play You Want at Two River Theater, the world premiere of Everything Beautiful Happens at Night at Capital Stage, and most recently, Melchior in Sandbox Collective’s Spring Awakening in Manila.

In addition to acting, Nacho develops and produces new work for stage and screen. He is currently producing Mercury Makes the Skin Glow by Gaven D. Trinidad following sold-out readings in Manila and New York.
