NAcho tambunting
Born and raised in Manila, Nacho began performing professionally in 2006 with Repertory Philippines in The Sound of Music, and went on to appear in over a dozen productions including Peter Pan, Seussical, Alice in Wonderland, Camp Rock, The Producers, and Jack and the Beanstalk.
He earned his BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and made his Off-Broadway debut originating the title role in Felix Starro with Ma-Yi Theater Company. Other stage work includes Trilogy and The Play You Want at Two River Theater, and most recently, the world premiere of Everything Beautiful Happens at Night at Capitol Stage.
Nacho has contributed to the development of new musicals including The Notebook and the Tony Award–winning Kimberly Akimbo, as well as Baked: The Musical at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre’s Festival of New Musicals (NAMT).
On screen, Nacho recurred on NBC’s Rise and Apple TV+’s Dickinson, with guest appearances in The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia (Netflix) and First Wives Club (BET+). His film credits include Asian Persuasion and the upcoming Come Into My Arms. He can also be heard on the iHeart Radio series Does This Murder Make Me Look Gay?
